Get Your Ham Radio Operator's License

There is going to be a class for the Technician Class and General Class amateur radio license and test session at the Gulf County Emergency Operations Center on Nov. 14.

The Gulf County EOC is located behind the courthouse. The class starting time will be 9 a.m. ET and the session will conclude in the afternoon with the testing session.

The examinations will be administered by volunteer examiners and instructors from the Tallahassee and Panacea areas.

The cost of the examination is $15 to help the examiners with the cost of test preparation expenses. Each candidate will need to bring photo identification, copy of a present license if upgrading and your Social Security or FCC FRN number. The FCC website is FCC.org and register on the cores application for the FRN number.
