Dona Austin Obituary

Dona Austin, age 100, of Port St. Joe passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 in Port St. Joe.

Dona was born Feb. 27, 1909 in Mobile, AL and had lived in Port St. Joe since 2009, coming from Apalachicola, FL.

She worked as a package store clerk for several years. She was a member of the Episcopal faith. Dona enjoyed playing piano, listening to music and also loved talking with her friends.

Survivors include one sister, Myrtle Hinckley of Port St. Joe.

No services are planned. Memorialization will be by cremation. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
