Elise Pitts Dawson, 90. passed away January 11, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
Elise was born September 2, 1921 in Calhoun County, Florida. She lived in Clarksville, Florida prior to moving to Port St. Joe with her late husband, Richard Dawson. She moved to Orlando in 1980.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Dawson; son Jimmy Dawson; and parents Lee and Frances Ayers Pitts.
Elise is survived by her two sons and their wives, Ira R. (Dick) and Gypsie Dawson, and W. L. (Bill) and Liz Dawson, both of Orlando; two sisters, Betty Jean Mount and Gail O’Brian; brother Robert Lee Pitts; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
