Gulf Coast Electric Cooperative Employees Celebrate Service Anniversaries
SOUTHPORT – Several GCEC employees and trustees were recently recognized for celebrating service anniversaries. The 28 Board members and employees have a combined total of 423 years of service to the Cooperative.
Doug Birmingham, Jimmy Black, Mike Carlton, William Coatney, Clay Joiner, Kaci Rhodes, Daisy Shewman and John Smith all received one-year service pins; Pam Harden, Chris Pippin and Harold Ruth received five-year service pins; Dale Marshall, Ken Newsome and Mike Reed received 10-year service pins; Ed Fuqua and Manuela Heyn received 15-year service pins; Betty Horne and Byron Whitten received 20-year service pins; Rudolph Brown, Charlie Little, Danny Little, Jimbo Nunery and Tommy Wood received 25-year service pins; and Roy Barnes, Jeannie Day, Carl Elmore, Ronnie Stanley and Mayo Wilson received 35-year service pins.

GCEC serves approximately 20,500 meters in Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Jackson, Walton and Washington counties and in the municipalities of Wewahitchka, Ebro, Lynn Haven, White City, Fountain and Southport.
