Paul Sewell Family Says Thank You

Our family will be forever humbled by the love and support shown to us during Paul’s extended illness and passing.  The phone calls, errand runs, visits, flowers, cards and food have been a tremendous blessing to us.

To our pastor at Lighthouse Ministries in Port St. Joe, Rev. Tim Bailey and Sister Wanda, your love and support through this journey has been God’s hand extended to Paul and our family.  Paul deeply loved and valued you and our entire church family.  Paul’s sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Gundy Weston, walked this 2½ year journey with us, so to them and the others who occasionally sat with Paul (Tony, Theo, William Earl and Johnnie), please accept our sincere appreciation.

To Dr. Tom Curry and the staff at Shoreline Medical, thank you for the amazing, compassionate care Paul received as the patient and the support we received as caregivers from Rena and her staff at Covenant Hospice (Linda, Dee, Janie, Dixie, Monica, Kelly, Kristen and Chaplain Charles). Thanks for ministering to Paul and us.

Thanks to Pastor James Wiley and Oak Grove Church for graciously allowing us to use your facilities for the service.  Also, we are grateful to the awesome cooks at Lighthouse Ministries, Oak Grove Church and Highland View Church of God for the meal you prepared for our family after the service.  To Eddie Martin, what a blessing you are.

Thanks to the pallbearers (Pete Harrell, Theo Johnson, Roy Lollie, Jr., Ralph Knight, Morrell Bailey and Tony Barbee), to those who assisted Bro. Tim with the services (Pastor James Wiley, Rev. Dave Fernandez, Pastor Howard Browning, Sheriff Frank McKeithen, Coach Vern Eppinette, Marvin Sewell, William Earl Sewell and Rev. Clair Uitts), to the Bailey Family and Mitch for ministering to our hearts musically, and to Tim Wilder, thanks for just being with us.  Paul dearly loved each of you.

He loved you both.

To Suzanne & Bart and the Southerland Funeral Home Family – we shall be forever grateful for your genuine compassionate care and professionalism.  You promised to guide us step by step and you did exactly that.  To Lynne and her staff at Bayside Florist, thank you for caring enough to send your best.

Now, that is a legacy to be proud of.

Marlene, Raymond, Marvin, Denise, Alex, Savannah, Buddy and Mary Lou
