Gulf County 4-Hers Places High at North Florida Fair Competition

On Nov. 15, Gulf County 4-Hers participated in the annual Consumer Choices and Agriculture Judging at the North Florida Fair in Tallahassee.

The Agriculture Judging contest consisted of: corn, hay, oats, soybean, perennial peanut, poultry, Beef Heifers and Beef Steers.

Gulf's Junior Team placed second among 14 teams competing, scoring a total of 1,000 points of a possible 1,200. 

Gulf's Senior Team placed second among 18 teams competing, scoring a total of 1,008 points of a possible 1,200.

 

 

Junior team members were L-R: Desiree Outlaw, Elizabeth Cuchens, Tori Lanter, and Shawn Elia.

 

Senior team members were L-R: Dylan Hester, Hayley Smith, Alicia Allison and Gauge Combs.
