Howard Lesley Hay Obituary
Howard Lesley Hay, 74, of Sylacauga, AL, passed away at his residence on January 20, 2012.
Mr. Hay worked at St. Joe Paper Company and was the owner of Eagle Imports in Sylacauga and Eagle Pit Barbeque.
Mr. Hay was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gracie Hay.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Hay of Sylacauga; brothers, James (Abo) and (Diane) Hay of Port St. Joe, Alvin (Pete) and (Betty) Hay of Stewartville, Billy (Sherry) Hay of Sylacauga and Gary (Bridgett) Hay of Dothan; sister, Glenda (Steve) Kennedy of Sylacauga; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Davis and Vivian Hobson.
Special love and care to Wesley Hay and Terry Hay, Southern Care Hospice, Gentiva Home Health, Dr. Bowen, Dr. Vance and Heart South and Coosa Valley Hospital, second and third floor.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at North Chapel with Bro. Don Grice, Rev. Eddie Forbus and Rev. David Mann officiating. Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Danny Hay, Scott Hay, Brian Hughes, Tony Hay, John Scott Davis, Bobby Hebson, Joey Hebson, Glenn Hebson and Adam Hay.
Honorary pallbearers were nieces and nephews Michael Hay, Michelle Corbell, Lisa Blankenship, Randy Butler, Josh Kennedy, Kelley Whitaker, Leslie Hughes, Curtis Holman, Kenneth Holman, Ronald Holman, Mark Holman, Nancy Holman and Anna Tyler.
