Julian Hollis Hunter Obituary

Services for Julian Hollis Hunter, 79, of Port St. Joe, are at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2 at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA, with Rev. Rod Brinkley officiating.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA, with full military honors.  Mr. Hunter passed away on Sunday, Aug. 29 in Panama City.

Mr. Hunter was born on Aug. 1, 1931, in Boston, GA, to the late E. A. Hunter and Lela Mae Howze Hunter.  He was a retired veteran having served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy.     

Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law, Faye H. and Ray Beckham of Smithfield, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, William David and Pat Hunter of Las Vegas, NV, Larry and Mary Ann  Hunter of Cairo, GA, and Gerald and Pam Hunter of Thomasville, GA.

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by: his son, Richard Hunter; his parents, E. A. and Lela Mae Howze Hunter; his sisters, Carol Hunter and Joyce Hunter Keller; and his brothers, Jesse Hunter, Oliver Hunter, and Ell Alvin Hunter.
