Charles Ingram Obituary
Mr. Charles Ingram, 71, of Port Saint Joe, passed away on Sunday morning, June 21, 2009, at his home. Born in Webb, AL, on November 6, 1937, he worked at the St. Joe Paper mill for 41 years. He was the son of Willie Mae and Wilburn Jessie "Shine" Ingram of Webb, Alabama.
Mr. Ingram had served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ingram of Port Saint Joe; one daughter, Betty Jo Cooper and husband Buddy of Wewahitchka; one son Greg Ingram of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Caleb Cooper and Joseph Ingram; four brothers, Jimmy Ray Ingram, Joe Ingram, Mark Ingram, and Carl Willie Ingram of Webb, AL; three sisters, Peggy Sue Sheppard and husband Jimmy, Kathy Pendarvis and husband Wesley of Panama City; and Ann Carter and husband Phil of
Ashford, AL.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Johnny Ingram of Webb, AL.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the graveside in Holly Hill Cemetery. He lay in state at the Comforter Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. EDT Tuesday.
All services are under the direction of the Comforter Funeral Home.

| There have been some errors made in the obituary of Charles H. Ingram. His son's name is Charles Gregory Ingram, his grandson's name is Charles Joseph Ingram, and Charles Gregory is married to Rella Ingram who was completely left out of the notice. He also had a second son, Kenneth, whose name was omitted as well. Please make note of these changes as they are worth merit. |
