BP worker injured in crash

ST. JOE BEACH - A BP worker was seriously injured early Wednesday when his car hydroplaned on U.S. 98 and struck a power pole.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck. The driver's name has not been released.

According to authorities, the wreck happened about 5:30 a.m. EDT near the intersection of U.S. 98 and Magellan Road in St. Joe Beach. The driver was transported to Bay Medical Center for treatment.
