Jewel “Jeanette” Creamer

Jewel “Jeanette” Creamer went to be with the lord Thursday, August 19, 2010 after a long battle with illness.

Jeanette was born November 8, 1937 in Palatka, FL. Eastpoint was her home where she raised her family.

 She worked as a seafood worker for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jeanette loved to go fishing, avid bingo player and loved to teach the grandkids history of the family.

Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Ukie Creamer, mother Shirley Barber, father Warren Moody, brother Bing Crosby, daughter Linda Dillion, son Warren Turner and three stepsons Duck, James T. and Freddy Creamer.

She was survived by Dink Turner (Phyllis), Dale Turner (Debbie), Darrian Turner (Connie), one sister Doris Pendleton (Tommy), six brothers Duck Barber (Margaret), Dennis Barber (Cathy), John D. Barber, Sonny Crosby (Rose), Ralph Crosby (Ruth), Frankie Crosby (Tessie), 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There are many that called her mama and granny. We as the family are truly blessed to have great angel on are side. She will be missed and loved by many.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 23 at the First Baptist Church on Ave A in Eastpoint. The visitation began at 10 a.m. and the services at 11 a.m. followed by graveside services at Eastpoint Cemetery.

All services are under the direction of the Comforter Funeral Home.
