Port St. Joe High School Class of 2009 Project Graduation is a Great Success!

June 25, 2009 - 11:00 AM

In 1985 Project Graduation began in our community as a way of not only offering an evening free of drinking and driving, but a celebration with fellow classmates under the watchful eye of proud parents. This year's graduates of Port St. Joe High School Class of 2009 were transported in style in two charted Kincaid Coaches to Rock It Lanes on Panama City Beach for Project Graduation 2009.  80 graduates and 20 parents spent the evening and way into the morning hours, bowling, skating, playing billiards and video games, dancing, and sitting for cartoon portraits.   In addition to food, music, and games, door prizes were provided to ALL graduates. These prizes included many items that young adults will need as they continue their education or begin a young career.   As an added incentive, every graduating senior participating in Project Graduation for the entire night was given at least one door prize.

Project Graduation at Port St. Joe High School has always been successful due to the generous support of our business community. The Parents of Port St. Joe High School Class of 2009 would like to thank these businesses for helping us provide a special event FREE of drugs and alcohol for our 2009 Graduates.
