News from Port St. Joe Elementary School
Christmas is in the air and we here at Port St. Joe Elementary School have celebrated it in grand style.
We began our celebration with the First Baptist Children’s Christmas Musical. We would like to thank all the kids and adults that worked many hours on this musical. It was a wonderful beginning to our Christmas celebration.
Next, we all were able to enjoy the Santa’s Workshop that made a stop at our school. The PTO did a great job and we appreciate their hard work. We also enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Challenge Class Play directed by Mrs. Charlotte Willis. They gave us their version of “Christmas Around the World.”
This show was attended by all students and they learned how Christmas is celebrated in different countries. Lastly, we invited all the Kindergarten parents to the “Build a Gingerbread House” day. Excitement filled the air as all kindergarteners created their own version of a gingerbread house. Various other events were held and enjoyed around the school.
On Dec. 17 the Science Fair judging began and our 5th graders and the parents were able to view them that evening. It is never too early to learn the proper way to do a Science Fair Project.
Have a safe and happy holiday season with your family and friends!!!!
