Gulf County Sheriff Arrest Log - Oct. 18

The Gulf County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check points during the month of October 2012. The check points will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71 Dalkeith Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun line.

On 10/08/2012 a deputy responded to a report of a shoplifter at a local Dollar Store. The deputy made contact with Devan Ryan Clark, 18, who admitted to concealing body spray, deodorant, candy and orange drink in his clothing. Clark was arrested for retail theft and taken to the Gulf County Jail.

On 10/09/2012 a vehicle driven by Walter Blake Quay, 42, was stopped for speeding. The deputy found that Quay did not have a valid license; he was arrested for no valid driver’s license.

On 10/10/2012 Lenina Rayne Wiles, 21, was arrested on warrants for violation of probation and loitering and prowling.

On 10/11/2012 Matthew Levi Richter was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of grand theft.

On 10/12/2012 a vehicle in which Kyle Shane Parrish, 19, was a passenger was stopped; during the traffic stop a bong (pipe used to smoke marijuana) was found at Parrish’s feet. Parish was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 10/14/2012 a vehicle in which Sean Vincent Devlin, 28, was a passenger in was stopped for a traffic violation.  During the investigation a cigarette pack was found in the rear seat containing several marijuana cigarettes. Devlin stated that the marijuana was his he was arrested for possession of marijuana.
