Faith Christian School would like to welcome Officer Larry Dickey to the campus.  Officer Dickey is teaching the D.A.R.E. program to fifth graders. The D.A.R.E. program stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education.  The goal of this nine-week program is to teach students how to make healthy and wise decisions concerning drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.  By teaching students about the harmful affects drugs, alcohol, and tobacco, and how to deal with peer pressure, students can make healthy decisions and avoid potential disasters.  Thank you Gulf County Sheriff’s Department for helping Faith Christian School students make healthy and informed decisions.

In addition to a daily Bible class, each month FCS student gather for chapel service.  Different pastors in the community lead every service. Rev. Janice Evans will lead February Chapel Services.  All chapel services are on the first Tuesday of every month at 8:15 a.m.  Parents are always welcome to attend

FCS would like to recognize a very important person.  Because of the constant care Mr. Tommy Davidson A.K.A. Duck, gives to the campus, everything runs smoothly and looks great. The students love to see him and he always has a hug for each one.  Thank you, Mr. Tommy, for your dedication, hard work, and friendship.

Report cards have gone home (just in case you were wondering).  Please sign the back of the card and return it to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.  We are very proud of all of the hard work and achievements of all FCS students!

Every Friday is “Dress Down” day.  Students do not have to wear a school-approved polo in exchange for $1.  All money raised during the year is given to missions.  Last year FCS students supported a few young people take mission trips and gave donations to several missionaries around the world.

Extended Day is a service offered to FCS students from K3 through the third grade.  Students are welcome to stay until 5:00 for a reasonable fee. Please remember that all children need to be picked up no later than 5 p.m. Thank you for being prompt.
