Governor appoints Spring to Northwest Florida Water Management District

Governor Rick Scott last week appointed Samuel “Bo” R. Spring to the Governing Board of the Northwest Florida Water Management District.

Spring, 36, of Port Saint Joe, is the managing member of Big Fish Construction LLC and Cape Concrete LLC. Spring is currently the director of the Port St. Joe Downtown Redevelopment Agency and the chair of the Gulf County Planning, Development, and Review Board. He received a bachelor’s degree in building construction from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 7 and ending March 1, 2016.

The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
