Betty P. Mamoran Obituary

Mrs. Betty P. Mamoran, 59, of Port St. Joe passed away Friday night, Jan. 29, at her home.

Betty was born July 21, 1950 in Tarenton, AL and had lived in Port St. Joe since 1991, coming from Brundidge, AL. She was a Dollar Store sales clerk and manager and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mixon Powell and Grace (Mobley) Powell, and a sister, Darthy Powell.

Survivors include her husband of over 28 years, James Mamoran of Port St. Joe; two sons, Kenneth Senn and wife Patricia of Dothan, AL and Anthony Senn and wife Stasey of Shreveport, LA; one step-son James Edward Mamoran, Jr. and wife Patricia of Wewahitchka; two daughters, Kimberly Senn of Elba, AL and Sharon Davis and husband Michael of Rockingham, NC; one step-daughter, Teri Reeder and husband Kevin of Apalachicola; two sisters, Eva Jordan of Ozark, AL and Lisa Kemp and husband John of Prattville, AL; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. ET at the First Church of the Nazarene on Long Avenue in Port St. Joe with Rev. Mike Evans officiating. Interment followed in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. The family received friends at 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
