Live for the Blessing

Jesus promised complete joy, if only we obey.

This is the reason for much unhappiness, that’s in the world today.

We hear and read, but we don’t heed.

Self gets in the way too much,

Like fishing, or sleeping in on Sunday and such.

Too many things we never do, knowing all the while God wants us to.

Like telling the lost what Jesus can do, because He’s already done it for you.

Don’t be selfish and show your greed, help someone you know is in need.

To be productive as Jesus would have us be, we need to think more of others and less of me.

When you can live a life like this, God is surely going to bless.
