Starve the old, feed the new

Starve the old nature and feed the new.

To find victory in Christ, every Christian must do.

The fruit of the Spirit is Jesus in me.

This is all that others should see.

The lust of the flesh is evil contrast indeed.

We must starve the old, for the new to succeed.

Anything we lust after that’s contrary to the Spirit.

Will be of the old nature and no heavenly merit.

To feed the new nature, stay in the word and prayer.

When you’ve starved the old nature, you’ll find victory there.
