People Helping People Guidelines

Following are the guidelines for all Gulf County residents applying for assistance with utilities to People Helping People of Gulf County, Inc.

Applications available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET;

Applications are reviewed on Thursday only;

People Helping People will not pay any reconnect fees so apply for assistance early;

Bring picture ID, drivers license and social security cards of everyone in the household;

Bring all household bills;

Bring proof of all household income;

Emergencies are only considered if it is for medication;

We may only pay a portion of the bill instead of the entire amount due.
