Nature photo exhibit through Saturday at Preserves Center

The public is invited to come and view a photography exhibit displaying the winners of the first annual Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves Nature Photo contest. The photos will be on display at the Preserves Center at 3915 State Road 30A in Port St. Joe through Saturday, Feb. 11. There will also be a closing reception for the exhibit Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET where patrons can view the photo exhibit and meet the photographers. Light refreshments and Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

All photo contest proceeds benefitted the Friends of St. Joseph Bay Preserves. In addition to raising funds for the Friends and raising public awareness of the Buffer's existence, the group hopes the photos showcasing the natural beauty of St. Joseph Bay and its surrounding region will inspire people to protect the natural areas and heritage of St. Joseph Bay.
