Correctional Officer Basic Standards Class 212 completes pilot program.
These students were part of a pilot program of the new correctional training curriculum recently introduced by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The Gulf/Franklin Campus of Gulf Coast State College in Port St. Joe was one of seven training centers in the state selected to pilot the new curriculum. The new curriculum allows for shorter class times, which saves students money and prepares them for employment a month sooner than the previous class requirements.
