Leap into Reading

Wewahitchka Elementary School recently concluded an Accelerated Reader Reading Campaign called Leap into Reading. The campaign really got hopping on Leap Day (February 29) with a faculty sack race and concluded May 2. Each child set a personal goal for themselves in the number of books he or she wanted to read during the campaign. Dozens of student achieved their goal and were rewarded with a certificate of merit and a stuffed froggie. The top point earner in each grade 1 -5 also received a prize.
