On Thursday, Jan. 17, WHS Senior Jessica Smith celebrated another milestone in her high school athletic career. At a ceremony in the WHS Commons, Jessica signed a “Letter of Intent” to play softball for the College of Central Florida in Ocala. Jessica received a full scholarship to CCF for two years.
The following students will represent Wewahitchka High School in the regional science fair at the FSU-PC campus on Jan. 28 and 29: Shelby Wood, Cordale Green, McKenna Waters, Kara Zucci and Hunter Bailey.
WewahitchkaHigh School will be administering the “End-of-Course Exams” as required by the Department of Education in Tallahassee on the following dates: U. S. History—April 23; Biology—April 30; Algebra I—May 7; and Geometry—May 14.
The “End-of-Course” assessments are computer-based tests designed to measure student achievement of the “Next Generation Sunshine State Standards” for specific middle and high school level courses.
