The Port St. Joe High School Student Government Association was represented by its Executive Board at this year's Florida Association of Student Councils Conference in Lake City, Florida.

Representing its 83-member organization, the group's projects ranked among the best at the conference.  Competing against schools 1A-7A, the group placed first in School Service and School Spirit, second in Fundraising, and third in Community Service. They also received the Gold Medallion, the most prestigious award at the conference.  Among this group are some of Port St. Joe High School's finest students.

"They are not only hard workers, but they possess great character and pride for their school," said SGA sponsor Sissy Godwin.
