We want to congratulate the Tiger Shark Football team on their great effort and hard work against Liberty County last Friday night. The Tiger Sharks were edged out by one point in overtime 26-25 but played one tremendous game. The Sharks finished the season with a 20-6 win over Sneads last Friday.

The Gulf Coast Workforce Board in cooperation with the Port Saint Joe Jr.-Sr. High School is running a food drive until the week of Nov. 14 and we need your help!  Class with most items brought in per student will be recognized and rewarded. Join our efforts to fill the shelves of the food pantry at 401 Peters Street in Port St. Joe that will feed the hungry and needy in our local community. Together we can make a difference.

A New Flag is flying over Port St Joe Jr/Sr High School.

On Monday, Nov. 5, a representative from Congressman Steve Southerland’s office presented a new American Flag to our school. This flag was flown over the Capital Building in Washington DC on Oct. 19 specifically for Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High. Just in time for our Veterans Day celebration, the flag was raised by the NJROTC at a ceremony attended by our senior government classes the SGA, the NJROTC and numerous guests from the school and District Office. We thank Representative Southerland for his generosity.
