During the 13th Annual Snowball Fight Jan. 18 the Wewahitchka Elementary School Pre-K class students were outnumbered, but were victorious against all the adults; including parents, teachers, Principal Lori Price and Officer Tadlock.

Officer Tadlock came to the WES Pre-K site to investigate a reported fight.  He was soon overtaken by a group of marshmallow-hurling pre-K students.  He returned fire but was unsuccessful due to the pre-K students’ speed and agility. He said he “enjoyed the fight and can’t wait for a rematch next year.”

After the battlefield was cleared of thrown “snowballs” the students and adults enjoyed a post-battle party together.  The parents provided hot chocolate and snacks for the tired warriors.

The Wewahitchka Elementary Pre-K class includes students Anthony, Aubrey, Avery, Braden, Brandon, Bryce, Karter, David, Emily Emma, Hadley, Hannah, Jenna, Kaden, Ryder, Laila, Trenton, Makayla, Cosette and Brianna.

Their teacher is Darlene Ake with paraprofessionals Teresa Redd and Diane Clark.
