Kerigan Marketing selected for LA web site

Special to The Star

BATON ROUGE, LA – Louisiana’s Audubon Golf Trail, a division of the State of Louisiana’s Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, has hired Kerigan Marketing Associates, Inc, to redesign its web site. The Audubon Golf Trail is a collection of 12 public golf courses around the state, including the TPC of Louisiana, home to the PGA New Orleans tour stop.

In 2001, Jack Kerigan was hired to create the initial marketing plan for the new tourism initiative with a concept similar to Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Since that time, Kerigan Marketing has grown to develop promotions, lead media tours and has created web sites for three of the Trail’s member golf courses. Kerigan will partner with Miles Media, who handles tourism for the State of Florida, for the work and was selected based on past design successes. The new site will feature a menu of videos along with social sites and a new reservations system.

Kerigan Marketing Associates, Inc. is located in Port St. Joe, with a team of four serving clients along the gulf coast including the St. Joe Company, Tyndall Federal Credit Union and Gulf County Tourism where the firm’s work helped to deliver a 33 percent increase in tourism revenues for the fiscal year ended September, 2009 over the same period year ago. More information is available on the company’s web site at www.kerigan.com.
