SOPHOMORES

Sophomores are scheduled for the Florida Writes test on Feb. 9, 10, and 11.

CLUBS

•Mu Alpha Theta will have its next math competition at Gulf Coast Community College on Feb. 13.

•The NJROTC Military Ball will be held at the Tyndall Air Force Base Officer's Club on Feb. 6. To help the cadets pay for the Ball, we are generating a Memory Book where businesses, family and friends can purchase advertising. A full page add is $35, half-page $20 and quarter-page Page $15. For every page of advertising sold by a cadet, they receive a free ticket to the Ball. If you are interested in supporting this venture, please contact CDR Jarosz at 229-8251 or 6177.

•Key Club is still looking for service projects. If you know of any events that may require volunteers, please contact Mr. Fred Flowers at the school.

•The Keyettes will be collecting money for “Hope for Haiti” throughout the month of February. If you wish to make a donation, please contact Mrs. McGhee.

  1. •National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive at the school on the 19th of February. The registration form is due on the 18th. Please contact the High School guidance office for more information.   

GENERAL INFORMATION

•Gold cards will be released Friday, Feb. 5.

•There is a School Advisory Council Meeting on Monday, Feb. 8 from 5:30-6 p.m.

•There will be a Valentine’ Day pageant for girls grades 10th thru 12th. The pageant will be held on Feb. 13. The deadline to apply is the 8th. For more information, see the High School office.  

•The Port St. Joe High School Drama classes will be holding “A Night at the Improv” tonight, Thursday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.
