Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School's Alvin “3D” Demspey finished 19th in the unlimited weight class during last month's state Class 1A weightlifting meet in Kissimmee. Dempsey benched 310 pounds and hoisted 275 pounds in the clean-and-jerk.
