Lady Tiger Sharks third at Ram Relays

The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School track team competed at the Ram Relays in Springfield last Saturday with the girls finishing third and the boys ninth.

In the field events, Nicole Enders won the pole vault for the Lady Tiger Sharks with Celeste Chiles taking fourth. Maya Robbins took first in the long jump and Dantasia Welch was second in the triple jump. Michell Pryor took third in the shot put and fourth in the discus.

On the track, Robbins, Welch, Maliyiah McNair and Jamrion Larry took second in the 4 by 200 relay and finished third in the 4 by 100 relay.

Port St. Joe finished behind Fort Walton Beach and Niceville, but ahead of Rutherford, Bay, South Walton, Arnold, Mosley, Graceville and Bozeman.

N’Namdi Davis won the triple jump and took second in the long jump while Jack Cummings won the shot put for the Port St. Joe boys.

Both teams will compete the FSU Relays March 23.
