The Tiger Sharks of Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School split a pair of games in the past week.

Port St. Joe fell 7-5 to South Walton and pummeled East Memorial Academy out of Alabama 8-1.

Against South Walton, Port St. Joe was held to just four hits, all singles.

The Tiger Sharks earned six walks and had one batter hit by a pitch.

Bryce Godwin (1-2) was the losing pitcher, allowing six hits and walking two while hitting two batters and striking out five.

The Tiger Sharks dropped to 2-5 in the district as untimely errors again proved their undoing.

Cole Cryderman led the win over EMA, starting on the mound and tossing seven innings of four-hit ball. He walked no one and hit one batter.
