The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School softball team won two of three district games last week as the Lady Tiger Sharks improved to 3-2.

The week started with a visit from Blountstown.

Behind a hitting barrage and the pitching of Stephanie Brinkmeier and MaKayla Ramsey Port St. Joe won 11-1 in a game ended after five innings based on the mercy rule.

Brinkmeier started and went four innings and Ramsey pitched the final inning.

Christian Laine had three hits and Addison Rice, Haley Wood and Shannon Pridgeon each had two hits.

The Lady Tiger Sharks hosted South Walton on Friday and won 7-6 in nine innings.

Ramsey went the distance on the mound, allowing 11 hits while striking out six and walking two.
