Blountstown ran the ensuing kickoff back to the Jag 9.  But a touchdown-saving tackle by Trey Sanders on the final play of the half kept Port St. Joe in front.

Blountstown, on the first play from scrimmage of the second half, went 60 yards for a score.  The Tigers converted an extra point kick and it was 15-14, the first time this season the Jaguars trailed.

The next two touchdowns belonged to Port St. Joe.  The first was from 12 yards by Thomas, the second from 1-foot by Register.  Blountstown kept trying but the Jag defense was too tough.  Blountstown scored one more time when a Tiger defender ripped the ball from the hands of a Jaguar runner and ran it in to make the final score 28-22.

The Dolphins game was tight to the end. The Tigers scored first but on the Dolphins next possession Josh Farmer went 60 yards to tie the score.

Back came Blountstown with a strong drive for another six points. The Dolphins retaliated with a drive of their own.  George Foxworth had a 30-yard run to the Tiger 4 and Farmer took it the rest of the way to tie the score again as the half ended.

In the second half the Dolphins went up by eight when Foxworth made a TD on a 5-yard run and a Farmer 2-point conversion.  Blountstown tied it again with 7:25 left.

With the momentum going their way, the Tigers were driving again.  They made the mistake of throwing a pass close to Foxworth.  With less than two minutes left in the game he intercepted and took the ball the length of the field for a touchdown and the Dolphin victory.
