Port St. Joe volleyball falls to South Walton

Published: Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:55 AM.

The game is played to support the Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally to promote breast health information as well as raise funds to further research.

Dig Pink events give spectators the opportunity to become involved by making donations to the cause and by pinking-out (i.e. donning pink in support) and event t-shirts will be sold.

The proceeds from all donations, the gate and t-shirt sales will benefit the Side-Out Foundation.

The foundation is a non-profit established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches from across the country to work toward the goal of making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families.

The organization works to advance clinical trials, increase patient support services and educate communities.
