Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School beat county rival Wewahitchka Jr./Sr. High School in a weightlifting meet last week at Port St. Joe.
The team score was 45-37.
The Tiger Sharks took first in eight of 10 weight classes. Joe Love of Port St. Joe was the strongest lifter in the meet with a 495-pound total; Corey North, also of Port St. Joe was second with 475 pounds; and sophomore Jared Melvin of Wewahitchka was third with a 465-pound total.
