The Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School football team will hold a Purple/Gold intrasquad game 6 p.m. ET Friday at Shark Field.
The team is in its second week of spring practice under Coach John Palmer, who returned to the school this spring after several years at Hernando High.
The team is currently dressing 55 players from grades 7 through 11, more than can be dressed for the Spring Jamboree that completes spring practice.
After the intrasquad game, Palmer and his staff will trim the roster to varsity and junior high squads.
There will be no gate admission Friday and there will be a concession stand.
