Robbins finishes 7th in 100, 200 meters

In the final meet of her high school career Maya Robbins from Port St. Joe Jr./Sr. High School placed seventh in the 100 and 200 meter dashes at the Class 1A state track and field meet in Jacksonville last week.

Bryce Chancey of Wewahitchka Jr./Sr. High School finished 10th in the boys’ triple jump and Port St. Joe’s Celeste Chiles was 15th in the pole vault.

In four years of Florida High School Athletic Association competition Robbins medaled seven times in 11 events, won the region title in the 100 meters three straight years and finished second in the region in the 200 meters all four years.
