A come-from-behind win last Friday against Wewahitchka sent the Port St. Joe Jr/Sr. High School baseball team into a critical week with momentum.

The Tiger Sharks fell behind early 2-0 but rallied late to beat the host Gators 8-6.

Port St. Joe has two important district road games this week against Bozeman (Tuesday) and Liberty County on Thursday.

The game in Wewahitchka was one of swings.

After falling behind 2-0 Port St. Joe rallied for three runs in the top of the third only to have the Gators come right back and take a 6-3 lead in the home half of the third, with Tiger Shark errors assisting.

The Tiger Sharks struck for five runs in the sixth for the final margin.

Jarkeice Davis had two hits, made a big play with a running catch in deep center on a line drive that looked to be going for extra bases.
