Will Ramsey was the winning pitcher after taking over for starter Bryce Godwin with one out in the fifth. Ramsey pitched the rest of the way.

Cole Cryderman, Drew Lacour, Walt Wilder and Ramsey head had a hit.

The Tiger Sharks lone loss came the day before in Altha.

Cryderman and Coy Burke pitched well enough to win, said Coach Chuck Gannon, but the Tiger Sharks could not muster any offense in a 1-0 loss.

Hunter Baumgardner had two hits, Cryderman had a double and Drew Lacour had an infield single.

Bryce Register and Davis added pinch hits in the top of the seventh but Port St. Joe could not push across the tying run.

The Tiger Sharks opened the season with a 6-5 win over Arnold, followed by a 5-2 win over Vernon and a 20-0 rout of West Gadsden.
