Pennington and Worley each doubled and Tucker Smith, Godwin and Clayton each had hits.

The Seahawks came calling April 2 and beat Port St. Joe 6-3.

Chase Wilder started for Port St. Joe and pitched two shutout innings before he was relieved by Godwin due to a sore arm, Gannon said.

Port St. Joe bats were quiet, managing just four hits, and the Tiger Sharks committed five errors in the field.

Clayton had a triple in the bottom of the seventh and Godwin suffered the loss.

Port St. Joe faced Liberty County in a district game April 15.
