Clayton was again sharp on the mound, throwing just 78 total pitches but Port St. Joe bats were again cold, managing just four hits from Troy Williams, Pennington, Worley and Smith.

“We left the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning when we could not come up with the big hit,” Gannon said.

Port St. Joe is at Bozeman tonight, at South Walton on Friday and will host Godby on Saturday for Senior Day, as Port St. Joe recognizes seniors Pennington, Clayton, Smith and Worley.
