Gulf Coast State College presents “The Big Goodbye”

Panama City, FL – The Visual & Performing Arts Division of Gulf Coast State College presents the world premiere stage adaptation of “The Big Goodbye”, based on the novel by Wewahitchka author Michael Lister.  Walk the mean streets of wartime Panama City, FL with Jimmy "Soldier" Riley, a wounded, woman-haunted knight-errant. This noir crime drama is stylish, retro, and highly entertaining. Directed by Jason Hedden, the play features GCSC theatre students, alumni and community actors.

Performances will be held in the Amelia Center Theatre Lab on Feb. 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. CT and matinees on Feb. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 2:30 p.m.

Seating is limited and general admission is $10. Admission is free for GCSC students, faculty, staff and retirees with proper ID. Members of the GCSC Alumni Association will receive 50% off general admission with their current membership card.
