Everyone enjoyed Ignite the Imagination Rocket Blast Off Day on Friday. Parents and students were amazed at the rockets and how high they went. We even had help from the wind. Thanks to all the high school students from Mr. Lamberson's Physics Class, the parents that showed up to help, Mrs. Phillips, and all the 3rd grade teachers. It was a day all 3rd graders will remember.

We need your help!!! We recycle empty printer ink cartridges and cell phones all through the year. If you are a business and would like pick up email:  vclayton@gulf.k12.fl.us   or drop off for cartridges is Ramsey's Printing and Office Supply.

This week the students at Port St. Joe Elementary School participated in Career Week. We would like to thank Heather Bryant and Josh Etheridge from Vision Bank, Tom and Aaron Watson from Watson Brothers Construction, Patti Blaylock and Chef Paul from Sunset Coastal Grill, and Charlie and Dana Black. Also, the younger grades would like to thank Gulf County EMS, Jared McArdle and Matt Todd, Port St. Joe Fire Department, Jared McArdle, and Gulf County Sheriff Department, Capt. Greg Cole for sharing with us during Career Week.

The Port St Joe Elementary School Relay for Life team known as the "Ticket Masters" would like to thank everyone for all the support the community and parents gave to our team through out the school year. We raised 4,800.00 to fight against cancer. It makes a difference. Thanks again for working together as a team.
