Public meeting: Air Installation Compatible Use Zone study
The U.S. Air Force will conduct an informational meeting in conjunction with the 2008 Air Installation Compatible Use Zone study for Tyndall Air Force Base at 5:30 p.m. May 27 in the Gulf Coast Community College Student Union East Conference Center, located at 5230 W. Hwy 98.
The purpose of the AICUZ program is to promote compatible land development in areas subject to aircraft noise and accident potential. The 2008 AICUZ will document changes since the last study at Tyndall AFB in 1994. Questions concerning the meeting or the AICUZ study should be directed to:

Retiree Activity Office seeking volunteers
The Tyndall Retiree Activity Office is looking for volunteers to help provide information and assistance to visiting and local military retirees, family members and surviving spouses of retirees. Interested individuals, call the RAO at 283-2737 or email RAO@tyndall.af.mil.
Thrift Shop changes days, hours of operation
The Tyndall Thrift Shop will change days and hours of operation beginning June 1. The shop will be open 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays weekly. Consignments will be taken by appointment. For more information, call 286-5888 or email ttsmgr.sandy@yahoo.com.

Looking for a speaker for your next community function? Tyndall has an active speakers' bureau, which provides local organizations public speakers for community events free of charge. Topics of speeches can range from general Air Force mission overviews to Tyndall-specific topics.
