AMVETS Post Seeks Members
Gulf County has three veterans, from over 1,800 veterans in the county, who are trying to start AMVETS Post 2010.
Join our fellow veterans, become a charter member of the first AMVETS Post (American Veterans) in all of Gulf County.
Other veterans’ organizations stipulate dates and/or location you served in to become a member.
AMVETS says if you are good enough to serve honorably you are good enough to be a member.
AMVETS will be forming AMVETS Post 2010 as soon as 10 veterans have signed up.
To join contact Ben Welch, 647-8949 or Steve McIntire, sdmcintire@aol.com or Wallace Tillery, 647-8949, or Jim Lawlor, district commander, 697-2329, or e-mail AMVETSDFPRO@aol.com.
