Violet Ester “Vi” Harrison

Violet Ester "Vi" Harrison, 80, of Port St. Joe passed away at her daughter’s home with a loving family by her side.

Mrs. Harrison was born April 16, 1930 to the late George and Cora Todd in St. Augustine, FL. 

She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Port St. Joe, the Eastern Star 191 Gulf Chapter, and a past member of the Rebekah. Mrs. Harrison retired after fifteen years as store manager of Top Dollar Store.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Harrison.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by a son, Fredrick Lee Harrison and wife Donna of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Betty Marie Fain and her late husband Gary of Overstreet; two grandchildren, Becky Harrison Duncan and husband Kraig and Billy Harrison; one great grandchild, Kooper Duncan and two sisters, Bessie M. Prevatt of Palatka, FL, Marjorie M. Brown of McDonough, GA.

 A celebration of life was conducted 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Doug Golden and Rev. Robert Jones officiating.  Interment followed at Holly Hill Cemetery. 

The family received friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
