Judith Ann Thompson, 66, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at her family’s home. She was born April 6, 1948 and a native of Apalachicola. Judy was a very vibrant woman who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She was known for her love of animals, fishing, and yard sales. Her family will carry fond memories of walks on the beach picking up driftwood and seashells. Friends remember her as never having met a stranger in her 66 years.
Judy was born to Lucille and Anthy Smith. Judy is survived by her daughters, Donna Crum and Samantha Jones; son-in-law Rusty Crum; three grandsons, Kevin Schoelles, Chase Crum and Christian Jones; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Amelia Schoelles; sister, Faye Thompson and brother-in-law Charles Thompson. Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Revis.
A graveside service to celebrate her life was held at Magnolia Cemetery on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. E.D.T. with services provided by Comforter Funeral Home.
