Coping with the challenges of living with autism will be explored at 7 p.m. CT Monday, April 14 at Lifetree Café.

The program, titled “Living With Autism: A Peek Into a Hidden World,” features a screening of the award-winning short film Guang. The film offers a glimpse into the life of two brothers, one with autism, and the struggles they face together.

Participants in the Lifetree program will find a new understanding of autism and will have the opportunity to connect with others who live with autism or who care for people who have autism.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located at 1602 U.S. Highway 98 in Mexico Beach across from El Governor Motel.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to Gary Grubb at 334-806-5667 or lwclifetreecafe@fairpoint.net.
