Mrs. Rose M. Cox age 52, died at her home in Wewahitchka, Florida, on Friday, September 14, 2012.
Born August 10, 1960, in Charleston, South Carolina, she lived in Charleston, South Carolina, Baltimore, Maryland, and Panama City, Florida before settling in Wewahitchka.
Survivors include her loving husband Donald; her daughter, Becca Heinsman and husband Jay; stepson Kane Cox; her sisters, Sara Parks and husband Kenneth, Cheryl Jones and husband Rex, Julie Medlin; her brothers, Johnny Mabry and wife Yvonne, Bubba Mabry; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Frieda Mabry.
Rose was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and homemaker. She was a loving and honest friend. A gardener at heart, she had a passion for flowers and plants, choosing to be outside at every opportunity. She was a funny, outgoing person who found a friend in anyone, she will be dearly missed.
Her viewing will be held 6-8 p.m. CT on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at her home located at 141 Lister Drive, Wewahitchka, Florida.
Her funeral service will he held at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Wewahitchka, Florida.
All services are under the direction of the Comforter Funeral Home, Wewahitchka Branch Chapel.
